About Central Debate. At Central High School, debate is an extracurricular activity, but it's so much more than that. We turn students into passionate scholars and advocates, compete with the most intelligent students across the state, and build a small but tight-knit community full of life-long friendships and connections.
Here's some more about us! |
A Proud TraditionLa Crosse Central has a long and proud tradition of debate that dates back to the Lincoln-Douglas Debating Society, founded at La Crosse High School in 1904. Founded by coach A.H. Schubert, the debate team has been coached by Prof. F.H. Hodgson, Prof. Leach, Mr. Voss, Mr. Sauer, Mr. Schams, and now Ben Hamburger.
